Grapes harvested by hand for small 40L boxes. Reception in our winery with selection, total stemming and immediate crushing. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24°C. Part of the batch aged in used French oak barrels for 6 months to give more complexity to the set, followed by aging in stainless steel, to preserve the primary aromas.

Tasting Notes:
A red wine with a deep ruby colour, it has great aromatic purity, with fresh notes of forest fruits balanced by floral notes of violet. In the mouth it is a wine full of personality, in an elegant and balanced register, in which the typical fruitiness of the Douro Superior combines with the freshness of the altitude.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 16º/18ºC.
Food Pairing:
We suggest this wine to accompany more balanced dishes, such as mushroom and asparagus risotto, or more traditional dishes such as octopus à lagareiro.
