Product details
Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
Grape Varieties:
Antão Vaz
Tasting Notes:
Yellow colour with hints of gold. Aromatically clean, restrained and enveloping. Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus fruit, particularly papaya and mandarin, followed by soft notes of vanilla and white pepper, highlighting the ageing in the barrels. The palate is rich, with an impressive creaminess and balanced acidity, and the alcohol, characteristic of a wine from a warm climate, stands out. Without ever overpowering the fruit, nuances of caramel and toffee add complexity to the flavour, making this wine even more interesting and gastronomic. It finishes long and silky, making for a very pleasurable tasting.
Store and Serve Advices:
As it is full-bodied, creamy and aromatically complex, we suggest serving this wine between 10 and 11ºC.
Food Pairing:
This wine is highly recommended to accompany rich fish or octopus dishes. Traditional cod or octopus, in recipes with sauces or rich in olive oil, will be a perfect match at the table. Try poultry with honey and herbs or pasta with fresh white sauces and you'll be surprised by the pairing.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
