Product details

Winemaking:
The Vintage Sentinels blend is based on ‘plot selection’, a meticulous process of choosing wines from specific plots on each of the properties. Just like Taylor’s Single Quinta Vintage, Sentinels Vintage will be produced in years in which there is no declaration of the classic Taylor’s Vintage. These years produce wines that have the potential to age and improve in the bottle, but that are approachable and enjoyable when young. Unlike Single Quinta Vintage Ports, which reflect the character of a single estate, Sentinels Vintage Port represents a harmonious fusion of wines from Taylor’s four heritage estates, located in the heart of the oldest demarcated region in the world.

Grape Varieties:
Traditional grape varieties
