Product details
After being harvested by hand, the grapes were transported to the winery in 18kg maximum capacity boxes, thus preserving all their integrity and quality. The different plots of the Touriga Nacional variety were harvested according to their ripeness. Afterwards, the grapes were sorted on a sorting mat, destemmed and crushed and moved by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. Pre-fermentation maceration was carried out at low temperatures ranging from 24 to 48 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation at temperatures between 25-27ºC. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to 225 litre oak barrels.
