Product details
Croft is one of the oldest Port wine producing houses. It was founded more than four centuries ago, in 1588. It owns Quinta da Roêda, often referred to as the jewel of the Douro Valley vineyards. This famous estate produces round, ripe and powerfully fruity wines, which form the essence of Croft's vintage Port blends. Croft has remained faithful to its distinctive style of vintage Port, which is characterized by powerful, ripe fruit and a round, delicious palate. With age, Croft vintages develop great aromatic complexity and a smooth, velvety texture. However, this smooth and round palate is deceiving, as it hides the enormous energy and aging potential that Croft's vintage Ports possess.
