Winemaking:
Grapes from old vines. Extended maceration for better extraction of colour and tannins. Grapes were trodden in granite presses and fermentation was interrupted with cognac brandy. Wine aged 24 months in old barrels.

Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby colour. Very dense but at the same time balanced. Notes of fig, black fruits and some spices. In the mouth very elegant and fresh. The balance between fruit and tannins is perfect. Excellent volume in the mouth, complex and with a long and intense finish. Port with excellent aging potential.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store the bottle horizontally in a dark place with constant temperature, ideally between 12ºC and 15ºC.
Food Pairing:
Vintage Ports are after meal drinks. Take them with cheese like Stilton or Gorgonzola. But you can also incorporate them into a meal, combining for instance a Steak au Poivre with a young Vintage.
