Winemaking:
Highly selective handpicking in 20kg boxes and carried to the winery in cooled vehicle. Atypical vinification for the Alentejo. Natural and spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Cuvaison of over 20 days. Bottled without filtration. Aging for 16 months in new barrels: 50% French Oak, fine grain medium toasted and 50% American Oak medium grain, average toasted.

Tasting Notes:
Concentrated ruby colour. Intense nose of wild berries and spices. Medium body, with a mouth-feel, full of aroma and ripe tannins.

Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down. It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC.

Food Pairing:
Goes well with red meat dishes, as well as soft cheeses.

Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
