It is the sweetest of all Port wines and has only 140 grams of sugar per litre. As implied by the name, Lágrima Red comes from the lágrimas (tears) of the red wine, which is the leaking of the most from the vats “off-skin”, with only slight fermentation.

Tasting Notes:
It has a fresh, live and fruity aroma. The palate is velvety and has a very long finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve between 6º and 10º C. Store the bottle upright, in a cool, dry and dark place.
Food Pairing:
Chilled, as an aperitif with tonic water or orange juice. Or drink it with a Foie-gras or Deserts.
