Age for 18 months in French oak casks.

Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby colour. Excellent aromatic expression, where the notes of fresh, wild fruits of the Douro are highlighted, in perfect harmony with soft notes of spice. Very elegant and fresh start of the mouth, evolving into a wine of great seriousness, where the excellent size and texture of the mouth stands out, composed by fine tannins and flavours of fresh berries. It ends in great balance and with excellent persistence.
Store and Serve Advices:
Best served between 17ºC-18ºC.
Food Pairing:
It pairs perfectly with hot dishes, whether they are traditional cuisine (game and roasted meat) or stewed meat (seasoned, white or red). It defies new harmonisations, including with fish, being the choice of the garnish a prominent element for the pairing: rich dishes with the earth/sea confrontation. Another small trick is to use some preparation of red wine in the dish.
