Quinta de Valbom

Quinta de Valbom was acquired in 2012 from a Porto family and had 27 hectares of old vineyard (between 30 and 100 years). It lies on the north bank of the Douro, very close to the wall of the Bagaúste dam. Among the best known neighbors is Quinta do Vallado. We are, therefore, in the sub-region of Baixo Corgo.
The property belongs to the company that already owns the well-known Alentejo brand Herdade dos Grous, the Pohl family, whose most visible Portuguese face is the huge and luxurious Vila Vita resort in the Algarve. At the base of the projects is Luís Duarte, oenologist and manager.
