Manual harvest. Reception with immediate destemming and crushing, grapes conveyed to fermentation tanks in mass piping with heat exchanger. Fermentation in 18-ton stainless steel tanks, with fermentation at approximately 24ºC. More intense and prolonged maceration, with higher fermentation temperatures and partial malolactic fermentation in wood. Part of the batch ages for a period of 12 months in predominantly French oak, with a small percentage of American wood.

Tasting Notes:
Deep red colour, aroma typical of great wines made from a blend of noble Douro grape varieties, very complex due to its aging in half barrels of National oak. Intense and rich flavour, ready to drink, greatly improving with aging in the bottle.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 15ºC.
Food Pairing:
It goes perfectly with traditional Portuguese dishes, such as oven-roasted Maronesa veal and stewed partridge.
