The base wine for this sparkling wine was made exclusively with the Arinto grape variety from the Azores region of Candelária, just a few metres from the sea. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation was carried out in the bottle using the classic method for 2 months at a temperature of 12ºC. Disgorgement was carried out in October.

Tasting Notes:
Very fine and persistent bubbles. This is a sparkling wine that cannot hide its origins. The notes of seaweed, iodine and sea air are mixed with some breadiness resulting from the long aging with free yeasts, during the 4 years in the bottle. When tasting, the bubbles are very elegant, balancing and enveloping the very refreshing natural acidity that the wine has. It finishes long and with an unmistakably salty sensation.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at a temperature between 8ºC and 10ºC.
Food Pairing:
Perfect as an aperitif and to accompany seafood dishes.
