Product details

Winemaking:
The wine year was marked by a mild winter, but with very high levels of rainfall and humidity in spring, which lasted until the beginning of summer. Despite the pressure that these climatic conditions put on the vines, as a result of the biodynamic practices applied, which created a high level of resistance, any damage to the plant was completely avoided. The harvest only started on 12 September, which was late, as a result of the delay in the grapes' ripening process. Even so, it was carried out without precipitation, which improved the concentration and healthiness of the grapes. Vinification took place in a wine press, where we obtained an elegant wine. After the alcoholic fermentation process, it was aged for around 4 years in old 2,500-litre barrels at Quinta da Lomba. It was then bottled without any filtration.

Grape Varieties:
Jaen,Baga,Tinta Pinheira,Alfrocheiro,Tinta Roriz
