Tasting Notes:
It has a deep, rich ruby colour, a visual indication of its concentration and complexity. On the nose, it reveals balsamic aromas mixed with hints of cherry liqueur and a subtle touch of forest and dried leaves, adding depth and mystery. These elements combine to create a vibrant, layered bouquet, reflecting the character of the Quinta de Roriz terroir. On the palate, the wine is energetic and focused, displaying the emblematic qualities of this vintage. A blend dominated by Touriga Nacional, with Touriga Franca playing a supporting role, it offers a precise expression of black fruits - black cherries and plums - with a powerful texture. The structure is refined, with a lively acidity that emphasises the wine's freshness and vivacity. Silky tannins with subtle notes of wild herbs and minerality emerge later. The finish is long and clean, with a freshness that lingers after tasting, marking Chryseia 2022 out as an elegant wine with enormous potential for longevity.

Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
