Product details
Winemaking:
Once harvested, the grapes are transported to the winery in small boxes, starting the ancient process of foot treading in the traditional granite "lagares", which, due to their shape, allow a perfect contact between the must and the films, allowing for greater extraction. The fermentation is interrupted by adding brandy, followed by aging in oak vats for a period of 2 years.
Grape Varieties:
Traditional grape varieties
Tasting Notes:
This Vintage Port, produced from centuries-old vines, has an intense purple colour, revealing all its youth. A Port of great aromatic complexity, with a magnificent bouquet of ripe fruit, floral nuances and rock rose, while on the palate it is firm, mineral and with great definition. However, it is elegant and rich in soft tannins and a long and persistent aftertaste.
