Today we're focussing our selection precisely on the wines we most associate with summer: whites, rosés and sparkling wines.
Naturally, we've started by suggesting some wines from the Vinho Verde region. Is there any more appetising wine for the summer season?
Why not try Ponte da Barca Alvarinho Reserve (-23%)? A classic from the region, with unbeatable quality-price. Born and raised in sunny vineyards that combine the green of the landscape and the solidity of the granite soil with the freshness of the Atlantic Ocean breeze. Bronze medal at the International Wine Challenge 2022 and Gold medal at the China Wine and Spirits Awards 2021.
If you prefer international grape varieties, we suggest Marquês de Lara Sauvignon Blanc (-30%). This is a bright wine with fresh, tropical aromas. Smooth, with great freshness and well-balanced acidity. A must-have for fans of the famous French grape variety.
For moments of celebration, which we're sure you won't miss this summer, here are some suggestions of Portuguese sparkling wines not to be missed, such as Pacheca Brut Nature (-20%). With 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels, it's a sparkling wine with fine, persistent bubbles, where toasted, citrus jam and resin aromas stand out. Fresh and vibrant!
