Product details

Winemaking:
Monte Bluna Reserva White is a blended wine made from Arinto and Vital, the latter being very rare. The grapes were harvested on the same day, manually, with choice, into small boxes of 20 kg. In the cellar, the grapes were again hand-picked and then destemmed. The crushing - passive - was the result of transport to the press, where a short maceration and soft pressing were carried out. They were fermented together at room temperature. Half of the Arinto and Vital finished the fermentation in casks and the other half migrated to the casks after fermentation. 400L, 300L and 225L French oak from the Allier forest were used, with various low intensity toasting regimes. They aged in these same casks for 9 months, until bottling. To preserve its quality, Monte Bluna Reserva White was bottled without treatment, thus giving rise to the formation of a natural deposit.
