Product details

Winemaking:
After selecting the best plots of Touriga Nacional, the grapes were transported to the winery in 20kg boxes. Fermentation began after 24 hours of skin maceration in a wine press, and then continued in stainless steel vats for around 8 days at a controlled temperature of between 20 and 24ºC. Part of the blend was aged for 15 months in used French and American oak barrels, while the rest remained in stainless steel vats to preserve and accentuate the aromatic characteristics of the grape variety in the final blend.
