Domingos Soares Franco decided to test the production of a Pasmados with aging potential, using the emblematic 1963 as a reference. The best vintages are stored in the cellar, small quantities of bottles being sold again years later under the almost forgotten designation of Garrafeira. Also rescuing Garrafeira's classification, Pasmados Garrafeira was born.
