Product details
An attempt was made to recreate a classic batch that showcased the Malvasia that wealthy families in Madeira drank in their homes in the 1950s. XX. Between wines from Mário Barbeito's bottles and Manuela Vasconcelos' bottles, we chose Malvasias with great elegance, but not excessively sweet. Aromatic intensity and high acidity from a wine from the beginning of the last quarter of the 20th century. XX, very concentrated in sugar due to too much time on the bed. This wine forced us to add a dry Malvasia from the 1930s. XX, with little oxidation, but necessary to lower the batch's Baumé and maintain the acidity/sugar balance.
