Tasting Notes:
Almost opaque garnet center, short violet rim. Abundant red fruit, very aromatic. Full-bodied, with firm tannins, very well integrated with the fruit, balanced and very elegant. Very complex and long finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
It must be stored in a cool, dry and dark place, without temperature variations, and the bottle must remain in a horizontal position. This wine can be stored in a bottle for an indefinite period of time, without compromising the quality of its properties and character. Once opened, it should be decanted and consumed within 2 to 3 days. The deadlines suggested here are merely indicative, not implying deterioration of the wine but only a slow evolution that can lead to the loss of its original sensory characteristics. Serve at a temperature between 12 and 14 ºC.
Food Pairing:
Serve with a main dish of red meat or game. Blue or soft cheeses (such as Serra da Estrela) are equally suitable. The exceptional quality of this unique wine means it is perfect to enjoy alone or with a cigar.
