Product details
Fresh grapes at their ideal ripening point, picked by hand into 20kg boxes. After de-stemming and gentle crushing, the grapes were placed in a stainless steel tank and macerated on the skin for five days. These fermented for five days, with three "delestages" per day, remaining in post-watering maceration for another three days. The result was a wine with excellent extract. This aged in old French oak vats. The Blend was made in March 2001.
