Product details

Winemaking:
This solera, containing a small amount of wine from another year (85% from 1991 and 15% from 1992), is a blend of old vines, including Arinto, Galego Dourado, Boal, Rabo de Ovelha, João Santarém and Espadeiro Tinto. It was aged in 700 liter oak casks with ullage (volume for expansion) to improve the oxidation process, and its fermentation was stopped in the middle with brandy to leave a naturally sweet fortified wine.

Tasting Notes:
Topaz colour. Discreet, but very thin. Very delicate, light dried fruit, elegant and dry mouth but with a long and soft finish.

Store and Serve Advices:
Serve between 6º and 8º C.

As an aperitif or with different types of dishes and conventual sweets.
