Winemaking:
Wine fermented with red grape varieties whose colour and texture are extracted from the skin and seeds during fermentation and post-fermentation maceration of red wine.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional,Tinta Roriz,Tinta Barroca,Touriga Franca
Tasting Notes:
Medium intensity and violet coloured wine, with a clear nose, presents an aroma with notes of wild berry and vanilla. Delicate and with a fruity flavour, it presents a balanced sweetness and acidity, with a very pleasant finish with medium length persistence.
Store and Serve Advices:
Best served between 17ºC-18ºC.
Food Pairing:
It pairs perfectly with hot dishes, whether they are traditional cuisine (game and roasted meat) or stewed meat (seasoned, white or red). It defies new harmonisations, including with fish, being the choice of the garnish a prominent element for the pairing: rich dishes with the earth/sea confrontation. Another small trick is to use some preparation of red wine in the dish.
