Treaded by foot in lagares, the fermentation lasted from 4 to 5 days, producing an excellent extract. This Vintage was aged for 18 months in large old oak barrels (vats and casks). Bottling took place 2 years after the harvest.

Tasting Notes:
Deep purple, opaque in center and with a ruby halo. A complex and ripe bouquet dominated by black fruit, blackberries, cherries, plums, cassis wrapped in chocolate and anise. Delicate aromas of violet and bergamot notes. In the mouth is very powerful, dense and with large volume. Silky tannins and well wrapped in all its fruit. Fresh and almost endless finish. An exceptional vintage, in line with the great Ramos Pinto classics.
Store and Serve Advices:
Should be opened at least 2 hours before serving and decanted. Serving temperature between 17 ºC and 18 ºC. The bottle should be stored flat, in a cool, dry place, shaded from light.
Food Pairing:
After dinner, this wine pairs well with cheeses from the Serra, Stilton and Gorgonzola, as well as other fatty cheeses. Ideal accompaniment to a strong cigar.
