Product details
The grapes, at the ideal stage of maturity, are harvested manually and stored in a cold chamber for 12 hours, in order to preserve their characteristics. This is followed by partial destemming and crushing in a wine press, where intense maceration takes place, before and during alcoholic fermentation with pumping for greater skin extraction. Wine brandy is added to the fermentation when the desired quantity of sugars is obtained, thus creating a fortified wine. This Port wine ages in oak vats. This wine has not undergone a stabilisation process, so a natural deposit may form in the bottle.
