Vallado Vinha da Granja is produced from a single plot of old vines, Vinha da Granja, planted in 1929 and with low yields, producing a concentrated wine with rich tannins and a powerfully dense texture. An impressive Field Blend with 33 different grape varieties. This 2021 received a score of 95 points.
Hexagon, José Maria da Fonseca's ‘top of the range’ wine, is the culmination of all the work carried out in the vineyard and in the winery and a celebration of the ‘New World’ concept developed by winemaker Domingos Soares Franco, who had long wanted to make a great Portuguese wine in the best international style and at the highest international level. (95 points)
Duorum O Leucura 2015 shows a perfect combination of power and elegance, with distinctive aromatic finesse, although still closed, very tense and serious, seeming to need more time. It maintains the brand's style, a classic Douro profile, firm, with lots of spice, rockrose, rosemary, ripe fruit, solid tannins very well enveloped by a full body, beautiful freshness on the palate, remarkable balance and presence.
