Product details

Winemaking:
Traditional vinification in the estate's granite wine presses, with foot treading to obtain the must and the best possible extraction of aromas, colour and tannins during fermentation. The wine is aged for 18 months in casks in the estate's climate-controlled warehouses in the Douro demarcated region before being bottled.

Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca,Sousão,Old Vines

Dense ruby colour. This is a very fruity wine with floral aromas and ripe black fruit, with hints of toasted bread and new wood. On the palate, it has a silky, polished texture with very engaging acidity.

Store and Serve Advices:
Should be opened two hours before serving and decanted. Serve between 15º and 17º C. Store the bottle in a horizontal position, in a cool, dry and dark place.

Food Pairing:
Drink with cheese like Stilton or Gorgonzola or with deserts based on red fruits or dark chocolate.
