Product details
Once a plot of Touriga Nacional had been selected, after ripeness control, the grapes were harvested on the day they were at full phenolic ripeness, with acidity and sugars in optimum balance. Total destemming was carried out, directly into the centenary granite lagares, where fermentation took place, steadily and constantly, with foot treading, at the beginning and during the 10 days of fermentation, always at a controlled temperature of between 23º and 26ºC. 50% of the blend aged for 6 months in new French oak barrels.
