Product details

Winemaking:
Produced from a genuine batch of indigenous grape varieties from the Dão region, vines over 100 years old. The harvest took place between the end of September and the beginning of October, depending on the ripeness of the grapes. After the harvest, an open fermentation process began for more than 48 hours, to allow great skin contact and oxidative fermentation. AGEING The wine aged in contact with the fine lees with weekly bâtonnage for 6 months in new French oak barrels, and a further 12 months in stainless steel until bottling.

Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle must be kept horizontally, in a cool, dry environment and protected from light, and can be stored for many years. To be consumed from 12oC upwards, in a wide glass.

Food Pairing:
An extraordinary wine to accompany structured fish, white meat dishes or even the emblematic Queijo da Serra
