GIN SUL is a walk for the senses along the steep coast of the Algarve: fine juniper, coriander, fresh lemons from Portugal, rosemary, allspice, lavender and other hand-picked botanicals capture the soul of Portugal in Gin Sul. Gentle and careful distillation in small batches creates a gin with fine citrus notes and a full body.
Tasting Notes:
During distillation, all the alcohol vapours have to pass through a metal basket filled with fresh lemon peel, rosemary and rose buds. Gently, with great caution and with a large quantity of fresh botanicals, this is how a Gin with citrus characteristics and incorporated volume is created...a true Gin-Gin.
Storage:
It should be stored upright, in a dry place with a constant temperature between 10-20º and avoiding direct light.
Perfect Serve:
Gin that tastes like gin again - neat, like a Martini or Gin Tonic. Enjoy Gin Sul with a good tonic water, a lemon peel, lots of ice and, preferably, a sunset by the Atlantic.
