This wine, the result of discovering hidden treasures in the Douro over the last few years, has been carefully selected from the best high-quality batches aged in old oak casks.
Grape Varieties:
Tinta Barroca,Touriga Franca,Tinta Amarela,Tinta Roriz
Tasting Notes:
Golden amber tawny colour. On the nose, it has the characteristics of nuts and dried fruit ripened by ageing in oak barrels. On the palate, it is rich, voluminous and has a beautiful balance between sweetness and acidity.
Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle should be upright, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. Once opened, it should preferably be consumed within 20 to 24 weeks. Port is a natural wine, so some natural sediment may form over time. Pour carefully so that it doesn't become cloudy. It should be consumed at a temperature of between 16º and 18º C.
Food Pairing:
Well fresh, it is the ideal aperitif to be served with dried fruits. Combines perfectly with a large variety of desserts with caramel, coffee, apricots and dried fruits. Magnificently with caramelized nuts, tiramisu, hazelnut meringue pie and brie cheeses type. The multiplicity of possible harmonies is superb, having the consumer the pleasure to go in search of new flavours.
