The grapes were harvested in September. The grapes were transported in 22kg boxes to the winery. They spent 12 hours in a cold room, then were transported by gravity to the granite lagares, where fermentation took place using indigenous yeasts. The wine aged for 30 months in 225 litre barrels and 600 litre casks.

Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby colour. Very complex aroma, with notes of forest, coffee, liquorice and blackberry jam. Velvet texture, deep, with multiple matrices (aromas) revealing themselves in the mouth, but with profound elegance and finesse. A timeless wine.
Store and Serve Advices:
Storage lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
Excellent with all kinds of meat dishes, especially for accompany grilled meats.

Contains sulphites and egg albumen.

The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
