85 points·H M Borges Reserve 5 years Medium Sweet Madeira

The non-vintage Reserve Medium Sweet 5-Year-Old displays too much caramel on the nose for my personal liking. The palate is attractive with honey and brown sugar on the entry, although the finish is a tad cloying compared to others and it requires more acidic bite to counter the pleasing sweetness.
