Winemaking:
Aged in American oak casks in the traditional 'Canteiro' method for 5 years. This includes a gentle heating of the wine in the loft of the lodges in Funchal. Over the years the wine is transferred from the top floors intermediate floors, and eventually to the floor at ground level where it is cooler. After this gradual 'aging, the wine is clarified and filtered before being bottled.

Luscious, medium-rich Madeira with great concentration of flavour and a complex bouquet.
Store and Serve Advices:
As an aperitif serve at a temperature of 10ºC; as a dessert wine serve at 16ºC.

Best served with drier salty cheeses such as Aged Gouda or creamy desserts.
