This Port wine was produced using the traditional method. After hand-harvesting, the grapes were partially destemmed and crushed in the lagar, where they underwent light maceration before alcoholic fermentation (AF). Fermentation was stopped with the addition of brandy at the ideal time determined by the winemaker. This resulted in a fortified wine, aged in oak barrels in the Douro Valley. During aging, the lees were removed and several adjustments were made. This Colheita wine was filtered before bottling in Gaia.

Tasting Notes:
A bright, dark mahogany wine with an amber rim. On the nose, it presents aromas of smoked wood and dried fruits. Concentrated and complex. On the palate, toasted almonds, candied orange, and plum jam.
Store and Serve Advices:
It is recommended to store in a cool place, at a constant temperature (ideal storage temperature 12ºC), away from light, and in a horizontal position.
Food Pairing:
It can be enjoyed on its own, at any time of day. Perfect as an appetizer or dessert. Dried figs and Turkish apricots stuffed with walnuts. For contrasting pairings, goat cheese crostini with walnuts and honey.
