Product details
This Port was produced using the traditional method. After being hand-harvested, the grapes are partially destemmed and crushed in the press, where they undergo a light maceration before alcoholic fermentation (AF). Fermentation is interrupted with the addition of grape brandy at the ideal time determined by the winemaker. This results in a fortified wine that is aged in oak barrels in the Douro. During aging, the lees are removed and several adjustments are made. This Colheita is filtered before being bottled in Gaia.
Grape Varieties:

Tasting Notes:
It presents a bright ruby brown colour. On the nose, there are notes of ripe plums, dried figs, raisins, and walnuts, leading us to a palate of nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Store and Serve Advices:
It should be stored in a cool place, at a constant temperature (ideal storage temperature 12ºC), protected from light and in a horizontal position.
Food Pairing:
It can be enjoyed on its own at almost any time of day. Egg and nut-based desserts pair perfectly, as is the case with Abade de Priscos pudding.
