Melosa Arbutus and Honey Liqueur

Algarve
Melosa is one of those very typical liqueurs from the Algarve, made from arbutus brandy mixed with honey. The Melosa is the natural extension of the Medronho brandy, perfectly combining the strength of the brandy with the softness of the region's honey, usually almost black eucalyptus honey which in itself is a very strong honey with a very sweet and sour flavour.
