Product details
This Port wine was produced using the traditional method. After hand-harvesting, the grapes were partially destemmed and crushed in the wine press, where they underwent light maceration before alcoholic fermentation (AF). Fermentation was interrupted by the addition of grape brandy at the ideal time determined by the winemaker. The result is a fortified wine that aged in oak barrels in the Douro region. During aging, it was racked and several adjustments were made. This Colheita was filtered before being bottled in Gaia.
