Product details
The grapes were destemmed and pressed using a 19th century rod press. Static decantation at low temperatures. Fermentation was carried out using only indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels, without temperature control. After fermentation, the wine was aged on fine lees in the same barrels for approximately 20 months. Periodic batonnage was used during the initial stage of the aging process. A minimal intervention protocol was followed during the vinification and aging of this wine. Gentle filtration and bottling took place on August 27, 2021, taking into account the biodynamic calendar. The wine then aged for 15 months in the bottle before being released.
Grape Varieties:
Arinto
Tasting Notes:
Bright golden colour with good intensity. Clean aroma, with excellent complexity and depth. Floral aromas (yellow flowers), ripe citrus fruits (lemon), ripe tree fruits (peach, apple), mineral nuances and a very slight hint of dried fruits (hazelnut) stand out, supported by notes of spices (vanilla, cloves) and toast. Dry, creamy palate, with very balanced and enveloping acidity. Fermentation and ageing in barrels gave it an excellent structure and a long finish, suggesting a great aptitude for ageing. Harmonious wine. Gastronomic profile.
