Alicante Bouschet, Aragonêz (or Tempranillo) and Trincadeira hand-picked from small plots in a vineyard planted in 1987. Granitic soils at an altitude of between 450 and 600 meters in Portalegre. Aged for one year in French Allier oak barrels (250 and 500 liters).

Tasting Notes:
An extremely elegant wine that despite the years in the bottle maintains its freshness, fruit and balance that demonstrates the aging potential of Monte da Penha wines.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store horizontally at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C.
Food Pairing:
Goes well with game, cod and Mediterranean cuisine.

Contains sulphites.

The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
