Fermentation in tanks “Lagar”. Fermentation with maceration by foot at aprox. 28-30ºC. Ageing for one years in old casks.

Tasting Notes:
As red as it needs to be, exuberantly fruity with hints of plum and black fig, in a clean and pure profile. With well-integrated alcohol, letting you understand the full character of the fruit, of its matrix. Very balanced, almost silky on the attack, followed by firm tannins to emphasize its presence, complemented by acidity and alcohol that are properly linked and potentiating.
Store and Serve Advices:
Should be opened two hours before serving and decanted. Best served at a temperature between 17º and 18º C. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dry and dark place.
Food Pairing:
Vintage Ports are perfect drinks after meals. Drink it with cheese or incorporate them into a meal, combining with a "Steak au Poivre" with a young Vintage.

The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
