Adega Mesão Frio

The Adega Cooperativa de Mesão Frio is one of the largest in the region and is an economic pillars of Mesão Frio.Consisting of five hundred members, annually it produces more than two million liters of wine, although it has a capacity of winemaking of four million.Of the portfolio, there is a diverse range of wines with the names Porto, Douro, Regional Bureau and Sparkling.
With the initial motto to help small producers in the region to dispose of grapes and wine, over the 60 years of life it has been transformed to meet the challenges and market trends.Today it is the strict control of grapes delivered by the members having as a slogan the quality of wines put on the market (rather than quantity).
