This is a Special Reserve Port which is a blend of Port wines aged in wood for three to four years to produce wines of greater complexity than their younger counterparts. A Port with attractive and intense aromas and flavours of fresh fruit.

Tasting Notes:
A powerful, rich blackberry bouquet with subtle notes of spice and cedar. On the palate, rich blackberry, plum and cherry flavours are intertwined with silky dark chocolate. The wine has balance, poise and a long, sumptuous finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
The wine should be served between 16ºC and 18ºC. The particular qualities of this wine mean that, once opened, it can be enjoyed for a long period of time without losing its freshness and vitality. The optimum time for consumption after opening the bottle is two months.
Food Pairing:
Croft Distinction is a wine that is well suited to the classic Port and cheese pairing. A good farmhouse cheddar would be perfect. It is also delicious with desserts based on dark chocolate and berries.
