Product details
Quinado wine is wine culture in its purest form, a rare classic re-released, much appreciated in Brazil and in the former Portuguese colonies in Africa. A story that began more than 40 years ago, when the former taster at Poças Júnior, Miguel Pinto Hespanhol, created the Poças Quinado wine. The exact recipe is unknown, but it is known that it is a wine that mixes the characteristics of an old tawny with the bitterness of quinine and the aromatic exuberance of a set of essences that would have been used at the time of its production. The pharmaceutical character is part of the life of this liqueur wine, flavored and with therapeutic qualities against malaria, coming from the quinine added in minimal doses, but already at this time it began to be considered a product of pleasure, much appreciated as an aperitif, having thus acquired great prestige. A wine base, flavored with essences of typical plants and fruits.
