Vintage Port is a wine of a single harvest of outstanding quality. The wine must be bottled between the second and third year of age, maturing henceforth in bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Sousão,Tinta Roriz,Touriga Franca,Touriga Nacional
Tasting Notes:
A vintage with a deep red color, almost opaque, very clean in aroma, where notes of wild fruits such as blackberry and raspberry and light touches of menthol stand out. In the mouth, it is complex and elegant, where the flavors of fresh fruits are involved with an intense and silky tannin. A vintage with a complex and seductive aftertaste.
Store and Serve Advices:
Ports are wines that develop very well in the bottle and should therefore be cellared in a dry and cool place where the bottles should be kept laid down. Serve at a temperature of 17 to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
Perfect with intense meats, dark chocolate desserts, red fruit desserts and high intensity cheeses.
