Product details
Wine made from the Fernão Pires grape variety, from the Beira Interior region (Pinhel) and the Lisbon region (Alenquer). The wines were made by oenologist Patrícia Santos and oenologist Hugo Mendes; the winemaking process is a collaboration, as is the percentage of wine used from each. This collaboration is a concept of a unique experience, of "collecting," no collaboration will be repeated in time and space. The truth lies in the wine and essentially in the grape variety, understanding how a variety is similar or distinct, whether it reveals more or less potential, and whether the terroir actually changes from region to region... These are questions that those who taste it will have to answer, or simply appreciate.
Grape Varieties:
Fernão Pires
Tasting Notes:
The wine has a very bright and clear citrus (lime) color. The aroma is exactly that: Fernão Pires, with clean aromas, intense floral notes, some exuberance, a citrus touch of lime and green almond. The acidity is pronounced, intense and even aggressive; the richness of the grape variety is felt, along with the sweetness of the retronasal aroma of white flowers and pollen. The palate is straightforward, a long wine with much to offer, and great aging potential.
