Product details
Proibido wine comes from old vines between 40 and 80 years old from Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Small plots facing north or east, between 250m and 500m above sea level. All the work is practically done by hand, without the use of herbicides or pesticides. The grapes were trodden by foot in a small press. Seven barrels were filled and left to age for seven years.

Tasting Notes:
The fullness of aroma and flavour was combined in a wine with great ageing capacity. The nose shows notes of black fruit with great intensity, as well as toasted notes and spices. Balanced, with a very long body, as well as persistent and well-cleaned tannins.
Store and Serve Advices:
It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
It goes well with red meats, stews and roasts.
