Quinta de La Rosa Colheita Port
Colheita Ports are Tawnies from a single harvest and aged in 550 L barrels for a minimum period of 7 years before bottling.
Quinta de La Rosa Tawny 20 Years Old Port
Beautiful golden colour, a good indicator of the age of this excellent tawny port. With great aromatic richness and complexity, with emphasis on almond and spices, the 20 years old has a seductive texture with flavours of dried fruits and liqueurs. As is typical of these aged tawnies, the La Rosa 20 years old has incredible length and is an 'aristocrat' of ports. All our Ports are made in the house style, that is, slightly drier, without any of the cloying sweetness that is often associated with Port wines. As with our wines, we seek balance and harmony in our vineyards, and we seek to ensure that the grapes express themselves in the bottle. The La Rosa style is to make well-defined wines, without too much extraction or tannin.
Quinta de La Rosa Tawny 10 Year Old Port
It has a flavour of dried fruits and a complexity rarely found in this type of tawny. Compared to Ruby, Tawny has a much paler colour and a lighter style. As always, the La Rosa house style is a little drier on the finish than most.
Quinta de La Rosa LBV Port
very lively and complex aromas, with a ripe finish of black plum, spices and herbs. It has good concentration without being too full-bodied, and fresh tannins that give the port length and depth. Thanks to the year and the good acidity, two opposing flavours of maturity and concentration are well integrated with freshness and balance.
Quinta de La Rosa Finest Reserve Porto
Beautiful deep ruby colour with lots of fruit, full bodied with a long dry finish. The light dry finish is typical of the La Rosa house style.
