Winemaking:
Maynards Ruby Port
The Maynard's Fine Ruby Port has been aged for 3 years in a combination of large wooden vats and stainless steel, so as to preserve the fresh and the fully style of Port while it matures. The final blend is fined and cold treated prior to the bottling, allowing to maintain the stability and brightness of the wine in the bottle. Wine with fresh and soft fruits and a rich plumy texture.
Maynards White Port
The White Port is special within the Maynard’s range for its characteristics: full, rounded, creamy and fruity. It is a medium-sweet Port that Malvasia Fina grape grown in high altitudes in Douro delivers. Also, characterizes the wine as balanced, fresh and clean.
Maynards Tawny Port
The Maynard's Tawny Port is a blend of selected young ports matured in small oak vats called "pipas". As a result, they gradually mellow to an amber, Tawny colour. Its aroma combines ripe with dry fruits with cinnamon.
Maynards 10 years Tawny Port
This wine has a deep brick colour with amber rim, with lovely aromas of dried fruits, a delicate nuttiness, honey and a hint of toffee, combined with ripe berry fruit and subtle mellow notes of chocolate, butterscotch and fine oak wood. On the palate is silky and full of ripe figgy, jammy flavours and has a long and clean finish.
